We often take the obvious for granted, don’t we? Those age old cliches that we all know, but find ourselves completely unable to break free from. Its obvious that this will happen if you do that, right? If you cut me, do I not bleed, If I bleed will I not die?

We often take the obvious for granted, don’t we? I mean, it’s just common sense ‘ent it? Come on dudes, it’s like duh. If you get on someones nerves they’ll say, talk to the palm ‘cuz the ears ‘ent listening, like seriously…Right?

We often take the obvious for granted, don’t we? I mean, how dare you try to shop in my store, with that unkepmt hair and soot like skin. Why would you even try to cross that line? This is London-Derry not green, white and orange.

We often take the obvious for granted, don’t we? Thou shall not kill or so it went. Now so clear as to become transparent, the lens through which we look but never see.

We often take the obvious for granted and that carresses us into a warm embrace. Brothers both, Hypnos and Thanatos lulling us to the other side. It’s obvious isn’t it, what’s on that other side? It’s obvious where we’re heading. It’s obvious that we find what we GO to find even if it obviously isn’t there, right?

We often take the obvious for granted and now with every step we take along that yellow brick road to our ideal selves, it’s obvious that that Emerald gem is more avarice that hope.

It’s obvious we know we should stop, turn back, go no further through the looking glass or down the rabbit hole but it’s obvious I can’t make you see, nor should I. Look at what’s obvious, see those strings which have been pulled. Make the obvious into what it should be not what it is.
